“EG File Encryption” is a software to encrypt files/folders. This software is easy, simple to use and absolutely free. You can encrypt your important, sensitive files/folders and make safe them from being accessed. Encryption is a best and powerful tool to make the data safe from being accessed. Here encrypted files/folders can be renamed, deleted but cannot be accessed.

Currently, this software is available only for windows operating system (e.g. Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10).

How to use EG File Encryption?
To encrypt a file:- Click on radio button File from “Make A Selection”. Click on Button “Select File” and select a file. Now click on encrypt. The encrypted file is located on the same location from we selected the file to encrypt.
To decrypt a file:- Click on radio button File from “Make A Selection”. Click on Button “Select File” and select the encrypted file. Now click on decrypt. The decrypted file is located on the same location from we selected the encrypted file.

To encrypt a folder: - Click on radio button Folder from “Make A Selection”. Click on Button “Select Folder” and select a folder. Now click on encrypt. First a zip file is created from the folder and then the zip file is encrypted. The encrypted Folder file is located on the same location from we selected the folder to encrypt.

To decrypt a folder: - Click on radio button File from “Make A Selection”. Click on Button “Select File” and select the encrypted folder file. Now click on decrypt and you will get the zip of the folder. Next a message dialog box will ask to unzip the zip file. The decrypted folder will be on the same location from we selected the encrypted folder file.
In File menu, sub-menu settings provide you many options like changing password, encrypting files/folders with their name etc.
